Little grebe and common tern

Today, the “Baillon’s crake reserve” again.

Near the entrance: moorhen, mallard, gadwall.

A common tern flying.

This is a video from France, on common terns (and other birds, including black-winged stilt).

In the northern part, the same Egyptian goose as last time, with goslings. They are still five, and already over half their parent’s size.

In the northern lake, shoveler. Some Canada and grey lag geese, but less than months ago.

On an island, a northern lapwing. A herring gull standing in the water.

In the southern lake, a little grebe with its chick swimming behind it passes two gadwall ducks.
