This video is called Blair Was Warned By 27 Lawyers: ‘Iraq Invasion Without UN Backing Is Illegal’.
From daily The Morning Star in Britain:
Yet more blood on Blair‘s hands
Monday 23 July 2012
Invading Iraq “will open the gates of hell in the Middle East,” warned the then Arab League chief Amr Moussa in 2002 as it became clear that George Bush and Tony Blair were determined to send in the bombers despite international law and global outrage at the looming attack.
But even in his worst nightmares, did he foresee that the slaughter would still be going on nearly 10 years later?
News of over 100 deaths, in a series of attacks across Iraq, ought to shock and horrify. It ought to be plastered across the front page of every newspaper, dominate the airwaves, provoke agonised debates about Britain’s crimes and how we can begin to atone for them.
But instead the headlines are dominated by sabre-rattling in support of another ill-advised Middle East intervention, this time in Syria.
And one of the chief architects of the greatest crime of the century is not only still walking free – he is being rehabilitated for a return to politics.
Inhabitants of the Westminster bubble may have forgotten his crimes but the voters have not – and they will surely punish the party for embracing a blood-soaked war criminal.
A man with the blood of over a million Iraqis on his hands should be in the dock at The Hague, not pressing the flesh at a Labour fundraiser.
