Barn owls of Texel island

This video is called Barn Owl Nest Box Instruction Video 2013.

Ecomare museum on Texel island in the Netherlands reported that barn owls had stopped nesting on Texel after 1963.

In 2006, greater white-toothed shrews, favourite barn owl food, were seen for the first time on Texel. The barn owls then returned.

Today, Ecomare reports that so far this year, six couples have had owlets. Seventeen owlets were born. Four eggs should still hatch. Maybe there will be still more barn owl nesting this year.

The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.

Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know. I tried a few times and nothing :((
