This video from the Netherlands is called Texel bird paradise.
Warden Glenn van Ginkel reports on Westerduinen nature reserve on Texel island in the Netherlands this July.
Unfortunately, all five hen harrier nests this year have failed to produce chicks.
There is better news about the four marsh harrier nests. At three of them, the chicks have already fledged. At the fourth nest, the chicks are still too small for that.
The kestrel chicks have fledged as well. So have the nightjar chicks; probably.
Probably, more bluethroat chicks have fledged this year compared to last year.
Meadow brown and other butterflies are common in the Westerduinen dunes now.

Thanks for linking back to my post about the 2012 fledglings. Also, more good news, the 2013 great blue herons have successfully fledged recently.
