Murdoch: GOP ‘Would Be Mad Not to Unify’ Around Nominee Trump
4:37 pm, March 2nd, 2016
If you want an idea of what to look forward to in the general election, Rupert Murdoch is already bullish on Donald Trump making peace with the GOP establishment.
Murdoch, who has feuded with Trump plenty of times over the past year, has pivoted to more talk of unity recently, and now he’s tweeting out that it would be “mad” for Republicans not to get behind The Donald.
Though given the blossoming of the #NeverTrump movement and the way Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have classified him as a fraud, it’s probably not gonna be so easy.
