J.K. Rowling Responds to Rupert Murdoch‘s Muslim Tweet

12 January 2015

J.K. Rowling is not a big Rupert Murdoch fan. After Paris was hit by a recent terror attack at satire magazine Charlie Hebdo‘s offices that left 12 dead, Murdoch tweeted Friday: Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible.

After the ‘The Hague sharia triangle’ stuff, printed in a Dutch daily paper as non-fiction, was recently exposed as fiction

Emerson claims city is a Muslim no-go zone

A US news commentator was forced to make an embarrassing apology yesterday after claiming Birmingham was a “no-go” zone for non-Muslims.

Describing Britain’s second city, Steve Emerson told Fox News: “There are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally Muslim, where non-Muslims just simply don’t go in” in comments broadcast worldwide.

Less than a quarter of the city’s one million residents are Muslim, according to the latest census data from 2011.

Mr Emerson later apologised for his “terrible error” regarding “the beautiful city of Birmingham” and suggested the remarks had been down to “other sources.”

Maybe these ‘other sources’ were Emerson’s boss, Rupert Murdoch?

… The clanger prompted lobby journalists to jokingly question a No 10 spokesman yesterday on whether the PM feels safe in Birmingham.

But David Cameron later called Mr Emerson “a complete idiot” and scoffed: “When I heard this I choked on my porridge and I thought it must be April Fool’s Day.”

The self-proclaimed Fox News “terror expert” who described Birmingham as a “no-go area for non-Muslims” has compared what he has gone through in the wake of the comments to waterboarding: here.

Bobby Jindal unapologetic after Muslim ‘no-go zones’ comments. The Louisiana governor echoes Fox News comments in a prepared speech for a British thinktank and later defends them on CNN as ‘speaking the truth’: here.

President Obama has enraged American Christians by urging them not to “get on a high horse” over atrocities committed in the name of Islam. Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast, with the Dalai Lama in attendance, Obama said people should consider the history of “terrible deeds” committed in the name of Christ before describing violent extremism as an problem exclusive to Islam: here.
