Think tank: Trump as president would be a major disaster
An international think tank of economists warns that the election of Donald Trump as president of the USA may destabilize the world.
The world economy will be distorted and US American politics will dilapidate into chaos. Trump, eg, will make for a trade war with Mexico, predict economists of the Economist Intelligence Unit. And he will have constant clashes with Congress, both Democrats and Republicans.
ISIS will thank Americans on their knees for electing [Trump], they continue. “It will be a lot easier for the Muslim extremists to recruit people for the jihad.” Trump has, among other things said that he wants to invade Syria to eradicate ISIS.
Trump did not just say he wanted a ground troops invasion of Syria for ‘eradication’ (probably also ‘eradicating’ many innocent civilians). He also said that invasion would be to ‘get the oil‘. In this, Trump is, cynically speaking, more honest than other warmongering politicians, proclaiming their bloody wars supposedly have nothing to do with oil, but are ‘to promote hunman rights and democracy’. Only long after their bloodshed started, some of these politicians admit their pretexts of bringing democracy were lies; like Tony Blair and Donald Rumsfeld did.
The think tank expects that Donald Trump will enter the top 10 of global threats. On that list of threats are included the unstable Chinese economy, the problems in the eurozone and the potential departure from the EU by Britain.
It is the first time that economists have nominated a presidential candidate for a place in the top 10.
Billionaire demagogue Donald Trump warned that there would be violence at the Republican National Convention if he fell short of a majority of delegates and was denied the party’s nomination. “I think you’d have riots,” he said on CNN’s “New Day” program Wednesday morning. … On Monday, former New York Mayor Rudolf Giuliani indicated his support for Trump in an interview with a newspaper associated with billionaire Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson. Last month, when asked if he would back Trump as the nominee, Adelson said, “Trump is a businessman. I am a businessman. He employs a lot of people. I employed 50,000 people. Why not?”: here.
Violence and Arrests At Trump Rallies Are Way More Common Than You May Think. Trump’s claim to injury-free campaign events isn’t true — not by a long shot: here.
