Amazon, Donald Trump’s business partners

This video from the USA is about Donald Trump quotes about women.

From UltraViolet Action in the USA today:

Despite Donald Trump’s sexist, racist comments, Amazon is promoting and profiting from him and his brand.1

The online behemoth sells Trump‘s line of menswear–even though companies like Macy’s bailed on Trump’s brand of hate last year.2

Trump is inciting violence at his rallies and spewing vitriol that white supremacists like David Duke love.3 So why is Amazon continuing to support the Trump empire? Many of us use Amazon, and the company has responded to our pressure before over the selling of sexist products. It needs to follow suit when it comes to Trump products. Will you add your name now?

Tell Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos: “Reject Trump’s sexism, racism, and xenophobia. Stop selling Trump products.”

Macy’s realized last year that Trump‘s outrageous statements, including calling Mexican immigrants “rapists,” deriding and objectifying women by calling them “bimbos,” “fat pigs,” and in one case, “a young and beautiful piece of ass,” were bad for business.4 NBC, Serta, and even NASCAR have joined Macy’s in dumping Trump.5

And that was before Trump said he would stop all Muslims from entering the U.S., before he refused to denounce the endorsement of a white supremacist, and before he started encouraging violence against brave protesters disrupting and even shutting down Trump rallies in Chicago, Kansas City, and Miami.6 Trump has gone so far as to say that protesters should be carried out on a stretcher, and he even said he would pay the legal fees of a supporter who was arrested for assault.7

Yet despite this huge public outcry, Amazon still directly sells Trump ties and shirts and allows its vendors to sell Trump campaign merchandise, including a bumper sticker that says “Trump that bitch!” and features pictures of both Trump and Hillary Clinton.8

Macy’s did the right thing–but only after its customers and members of the public pressured it. And Amazon has listened before: In 2013, after UltraViolet members spoke out, the company pulled a “zombie ex-girlfriend” shooting target.9 Now it’s time for Amazon to Dump Trump.

Add your name.

Thanks for speaking out.

Returned a few purchases on Amazon? Then take note of Greg Nelson, a computer programmer who saw his account canceled after he returned 37 of 343 items, the Guardian reports. “I could understand if there were evidence that I had somehow tried to abuse the system, but I haven’t,” says Nelson: here.

As many of us continue to grapple with the depth of how wrong we were to dismiss Trump in the opening months of his campaign, it’s worth looking back at the handful of individuals who declined to join our giddy chorus of skepticism. While the rest of us giggled like idiots, or else reasoned our way to being convinced that a Trump nomination could never happen, these commentators saw something in Trump that made them confident he had what it took.” (Leon Neyfakh, Slate)

Yet another campaign rally for Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was marred by violence on Saturday, this time in Tucson, Arizona, including one incident involving a plainclothes member of Trump’s private security team: here.

HOW THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CREATED TRUMP “We’ve known since at least World War I that sustained economic misery breeds fascism, and Democratic leaders have consistently brushed aside the material needs of working class people for decades. It shouldn’t be a surprise that they’re looking elsewhere for solutions.” [Zach Carter, HuffPost]
