This is a video about the Dutch Boschplaat nature reserve on Terschelling island.
Today, an excursion with a cart and three horses to the Boschplaat nature reserve.
Collared doves on the roof opposite the starting point.
At the start of the reserve, a wood warbler singing from the top of a low tree.
Later, a marsh harrier. And the first one of the male pheasants of today.
Barn swallows all the way till the sea separating Terschelling from Ameland, the next island to the east.
Shelducks.
At the far end of the trip, closest to Ameland: eider ducks and curlews.
Later, spoonbills.
We drove along a horse-cart track with at one point lesser-black backed gull nests on both sides of the track.
The Boschplaat is a beautiful, quiet part of Terschelling.
