This video is called Cat harassed by two magpies.
This year, magpies have nested in the tree opposite my balcony.
It was difficult to see what happened to the nest. Because, soon after the nest started in spring, many leaves hid it from sight.
Today, two magpies on my balcony. Were they the couple which nested in the tree this summer? Were they the chicks which fledged this year? Or other magpies yet? I am not sure.
Magpies are often together as couples. Males and females look the same.
There had been magpies before on my balcony. This, however, was the first time two visited together.

At the beginning, I thought the cat was going to make a run for it. Two at once, almost diving bombing, must be quite intimidating 🙂

Oh my, how they did taunt that cat! It was like they were playing: Nanny, nanny, boo, boo. Catch me if you can, with it. They were definitely not afraid of the cat at all. Blessings, Natalie
