An elderly protester claims that she was ‘cold-cocked’ by a Trump supporter at a rally in North Carolina. John Iadarola, Jimmy Dore, and Michael Shure, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down.

“Here’s a fistful of deplorable.

Cops were hunting a Donald Trump supporter who sucker-punched a 69-year-old woman who uses oxygen for a respiratory condition at a North Carolina rally.

Protester Shirley Teter was clocked by a man exiting the Monday gathering in Asheville, she told WLOS-13. Teter fell on her oxygen tank and was treated at a hospital for sore ribs, a sore jaw and a cut to her elbow.”

United States Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump himself has repeatedly advocated violence against opponents. Some of Trump’s supporters have practiced it.

Recently, the Republican governor of Kentucky threatened violence in case Trump would lose the November election. Apparently, this North Carolina Trump supporter was unable to postpone the violence till after the election.

Trump’s Supreme Court Choice: Women Voting Was A Mistake

Trump’s choice for Supreme Court has some unique and horrible views on women’s suffrage. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down.

“Donald Trump has made it clear he will nominate Peter Thiel to the Supreme Court if he wins the presidency, Thiel has told friends, according to a source close to the PayPal co-founder.

Trump “deeply loves Peter Thiel,” and people in the real estate mogul’s inner circle are talking about Thiel as a Supreme Court nominee, a separate source close to Trump told The Huffington Post. That source, who has not spoken to Trump directly about Thiel being nominated to the Court, cautioned that Trump’s offers often fail to materialize in real life.

It’s not clear whether Trump has indeed offered to nominate Thiel ― only that Thiel has said Trump would nominate him and that Trump’s team has discussed Thiel as a possible nominee. Both sources requested anonymity, given that Trump and Thiel have each demonstrated a willingness to seek revenge against parties they feel have wronged them. In Thiel’s case, he secretly financed lawsuits against with the intention of destroying the publication. He succeeded, and his role in the assault was only revealed in the final stages.
