Meadow birds threatened by agribusiness, not foxes

The decline of the black-tailed godwit has nothing to do with predation, but is due to the intensive economic use of grassland. “For foxes, meadow birds are just a small part of their diet,” fox expert Jaap Mulder said this Thursday on the wader research meeting in Earnewâld.
