Greeks demonstrate massively for No vote to austerity

Tonight’s demonstration was a firm, but gentle No to the deal on offer from creditors, says Phoebe Greenwood in her last video clip from Syntagma Square tonight. …

The turnout at tonight’s “No” protest is reminiscent of the major demonstrations seen back in 2011 and 2012, although there’s no sign of the violence seen at times back then.

This video shows demonstrators arriving at the Syntagma underground station.
