Great piece Petre… we were so ostracised and isolated in our right wing country community for protesting and marching and writing against the Springbok tour , that we left our home and moved to the city which was more tolerant…the issue split the country, communities and families, and there is still much bitterness thirty years later, against those who supported the right wing government. and treated their fellow countrymen so brutally for the sake of sport…
