Activists have marched through the Polish city of Katowice, where a two-week United Nations climate summit – Katowice Climate Change Conference (COP24) – is under way. The protesters are calling for more action from governments to tackle global warming. However, attempts to incorporate a key scientific study into climate talks failed, after it was blocked by countries, including the United States and Saudi Arabia.
