This video from Britain says about itself:
Close inspection of Male & female Wheatears (Oenanthe oenanthe) at Thorpe Marsh Nature Reserve, Spring 2012.
BirdLife in the Netherlands reports that in 2015 they have protected northern wheatear nests in some areas.
This led to good result for this species, endangered in the Netherlands. In the Noordduinen nature reserve near Den Helder, 67% of the young birds of protected nests have fledged; in unprotected nests that was only 23%.
In the Aekingerzand, on the border of Friesland and Drenthe provinces, 93% of protected northern wheatear nests were succesful. 139 young wheatears fledged.
