After the fungi in the woodland of Terschelling island on 20 September 2019, we continued that day to the Wadden Sea coast. As this spoonbill photo shows.
In the Wadden Sea, brent geese and wigeon swimming.
Black-headed gulls. Curlews. Redshanks.
Three bar-tailed godwits.
A greenshank. About fifty starlings.
Two oystercatchers.
Many shelducks.
A bit more inland: 50 goldfinches. Migrating barn swallows.
Near Striep, a hovering kestrel.
Spoonbills on the mudflats.
