Turtle dove wintering in the Netherlands

This December 2017 video was made by Anita Melenboek in her backyard in Krimpen aan den IJssel in the Netherlands. It shows a turtle dove.

To see this bird at this time is rather surprising, as most turtle doves winter in Africa. This turtle dove has joined a flock of collared doves.
