Chickfriend used another toxic substance
Today, 16:23
The company Chickfriend has also used another toxic substance in addition to the toxic delousing substance Fipronil. Minister Schippers and Deputy Minister Van Dam write to parliament that amitraz, “a moderately toxic substance”, is said to have been used by the business against flies on calves.
It is illegal to use this pesticide on animals, say Schippers and Van Dam. Amitraz can “cause central nervous system effects”. …
Until the results of research will be known, the calves are not allowed to be slaughtered.
Ban Fipronil, Dutch Party for the Animals says.
