I once drove behind a bird on the Long Island Expressway in NY for at least 15 miles. It was amazing. π

No, I don’t. Actually, I don’t even remember if I knew what type of bird it was at the time. It was between 15 and 20 years ago. There were a lot of cars on the road so we weren’t driving the speed limit (55 MPH), but we were moving at a pretty good speed. The bird flew above and between cars. It appeared to be having fun. It truly was an amazing sight to see. I was with one other person, a guy I worked with at the time. π

Probably, it was not a really small bird.

No, it was a bird like a pigeon, robin, blue jay, something like that. Not a large bird, but not a tiny bird either. Long Island has a wide variety of birds despite being an island with about 8 million people.
