Here are just some rambly thoughts of mine and a short story of homophobia I have ever experienced in the workplace. Sorry about the language!

1 in 4 experience homophobia

JAPAN: A quarter of workers have been subjected to or witnessed homophobic attacks, according to a survey by trade union confederation Rengo.

Rengo demanded action to raise awareness and promote understanding, and four-fifths of workers surveyed said that such discrimination must be eliminated.

However, 35 per cent said they felt uncomfortable working with LGBT people.

JAPAN RULING ON SAME-SEX MARRIAGE A Japanese court ruled Wednesday the government’s ban on same-sex marriages is unconstitutional, recognizing the rights of same-sex couples for the first time in the only Group of Seven country that doesn’t acknowledge their legal partnership. [AP]
