Red Squirrel enjoys some food in the Audubon Squirrel Feeder after surviving a long cold winter high in the Great Smoky Mountains. This is probably one of the young ones that left the nest box last October – it seemed to remember me and be quite relaxed – the nice free meal on a very cold day probably helped.
