Brook lampreys spawning later than usually

This 2015 video from Wales is about brook lampreys and river lampreys preparing a place for spawning.

Dutch ichthyologists report that this week, brook lampreys have started spawning.

That is about a month later than in earlier years for this species; probably because of the comparatively harsh winter.
