This video from the Netherlands says about itself:
American Robin, Roodborstlijster, Heemskerk. In the rain
27 April 2014
This American Robin, found by young birder Lonnie Bregman, constitutes a first for the Netherlands. In the morning it resided on a few dune hills near the coast, shortly afterwards it flew 3km inland where it was found in the afternoon and stayed until 21h.
This video is about the many birders attracted by this rare vagrant individual.
After 27 April, this American robin was not seen any more.
More to the north, near Den Helder today there is still a rare white-tailed lapwing.
