This Dutch TV video is about sheep for fighting Lyme disease near Ootmarsum in the Netherlands.
The site nu.nl in the Netherlands reports that Wageningen University this summer starts an experiment to fight Lyme disease with sheep. Ticks cause Lyme disease in sheep and humans. The sheep’s wool gets an anti-tick treatment. This will kill the ticks which try to bite the sheep; also lessening the chance that humans will get Lyme disease.
