This video from the USA says about itself:
National Audubon Society Overview
Now in its second century, Audubon connects people with birds, nature and the environment that supports us all. Our national network of community-based nature centers, chapters, and scientific, education, and advocacy programs engages millions of people from all walks of life in conservation action to protect and restore the natural world. From Bob Fertik in the USA:
The House Interior Appropriations Committee has made draconian cuts to critical wildlife and habitat programs.
On the chopping block are proven, cost-effective programs like the Land and Water Conservation Fund, State Wildlife Grants, and the Neotropical Migratory Bird Conservation Act.
Tell Congress: Restore Bird Conservation Funding
Restoration of key resources like the Great Lakes and Long Island Sound — showing true progress in restoring wetlands, dunelands, removing toxics and other pollutants — are severely cut.
Bedrock programs like the Endangered Species Act suffer severe cuts as does the Environmental Protection Agency.
Tell Congress: Restore Bird Conservation Funding
Thanks for all you do!
