1. What makes you happiest? Seeing and hearing cranes fly overhead.

2. Do you love the Ocean or the Mountains more? Mountains close to oceans can be very beautiful. Like the coastal rocks where I saw rare hermit ibises in Morocco.

3. What has been your favourite moment of 2012? Seeing red-billed firefinches in Gambia.

4. What is your favourite quote and why? “The great appear great to us, only because we are on our knees: LET US RISE.” By James Connolly. Written in 1897, but still very fitting in 2013.

5. Do you like yourself? Most of the time 🙂

6. Do you stay up till the Stroke of Midnight on New Year’s Eve? Yes. And even if I would go to sleep earlier, then the fireworks would wake me up 🙂

7. Something you wish you get it done ASAP? Stop the bloody wars.

8. What was your favourite class while still in school? Biology.

9. What musical instrument have you tried to learn to play? Flute. Guitar. Keyboard. Toy saxophone.

10. Anything you wish you had learned earlier? Computers.

11. Do you like to do crafts or draw or even paint? I draw, but not really well.
