Bahrain dictatorship’s violence, videos

Sat, 24 Sep 2011, 14:06 GMT+3 – Bahrain A video shot in Sanabis village near Manama, Bahrain on September 23, shows police leaving a home after allegedly chasing protesters inside and setting fire to it by throwing sound grenades near an opened cooking gas container, according to eyewitnesses in the home.

Protesters can be seen trying to escape through a garage door when police officers outside tried to trap them inside. Once the protesters are out of the garage police allegedly fired rubber bullets in their direction from close range and one person is seen being beaten by police on the street.

At least seven of the protesters are now being treated for third degree burns caused by the fire. Details of this story were confirmed to Al Jazeera by a source in Bahrain who was near the incident at the time.
