Dutch gull-billed tern nest, first since 1958

This June 2020 video shows a gull-billed tern at its nest in the Marker Wadden nature reserve in Flevoland province in the Netherlands.

This species had not nested in the Netherlands since 1958. A young bird has hatched.

Also a first for the Marker Wadden: 30 nesting Mediterranean gull couples.

Hundreds of avocet couples nest there this year.
