This 20 November 2019 video shows the cacndidates of the Dutch Bird of the Year election.
The candidates were: bittern, Kentish plover, skylark, black-tailed godwit, golden oriole, short-eared owl, common crane, turtle dove, northern wheatear, curlew, common tern and cuckoo.
On 6 December 2019, it turned out that the black-tailed godwit had become the winner.
