Mother Chipping Sparrow is busy feeding seeds to two cute newly fledged babies. Chipping Sparrows are rather attractive sparrows in my opinion with their cute red cap and strong eye liner and generally pleasant outgoing nature around the yard. I find the best way to feed birds and enjoy their behavior is to simply throw the seed on the ground during the morning – just enough to last through one day.
