THE family of Freddie Gray is frustrated and disappointed with the acquittal Thursday of Baltimore Police Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. on all charges related to Gray’s death, family attorney William H. ‘Billy’ Murphy said: here.
Baltimore Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams on Monday morning found Lieutenant Brian Rice not guilty of all charges relating to the detention and death of Freddie Gray. Rice is the fourth police officer to be tried in relation to Freddie Gray’s death, two others of whom have been acquitted and one whose trial ended with a hung jury: here.
The six police officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray will not face federal civil rights prosecution, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Tuesday: here.
