  1. Meanwhile in Portugal – we accept all that and more as god’s will or fate – we are indeed a peculiar nation! Our politicians are corrupt and tell us to leave the country if we want a better life! The future is dark – foolishly we wait for something falling from the sky or god to save us. Cuts and taxes have impoverished the people. The richer are insanely rich – medium class is living as if it were a lower class – we accept all this as if we were responsible for the situation! We won’t have such demonstrations in Portugal because we are a submissive people!
