US army kills four more civilians
Afghanistan: US occupation troops have killed another four civilians after soldiers opened fire on a car that the military claimed had failed to stop at a checkpoint.
US commanders insisted that the victims were “known insurgents,” but local police chief Abdul Hakim Hesaq said that the dead were local people and included a 12-year-old child.
The latest massacre of Afghan civilians by foreign troops follows last week’s attack by US soldiers on a bus near the southern city of Kandahar in which another four people were shot dead.
