20-12-2006
This fish loves the cold!
The new species was named Cryothenia amphitreta, which stands for “from the cold” and “an orifice with two openings”, a name that fits perfectly.
The fish, which is about 13 inches long, was already discovered in November 2004, but the details of the discovery was not published until now.
