That is what the photos look like, just beautiful. I travel mostly rural america, I do not like the cities. I grew up on a cattle and horse farm, we have cow birds, but they are not colorful, black with brown heads. I was surprised to see them at my bird feeder last summer.

That is a great video, it looks like the egret was eating a frog, I have never seen that before.

Yes, it was eating a frog; like many heron species do. Cattle egerets often eat insects.

I figured that, I like how it just waits to sneak in behind the cows head. I have never heard of cattle egrets. I love it when I see something new.

In many areas where they live, they are often common near cattle.
Especially in spring, their feathers are beautiful.

Love these birds – but I’ve only ever seem them in a place where there no cattle at all!

In Africa, they often follow, eg, elephants, to catch insects stirred up by the elephants.
