Heron and parakeets

This is a video about ring-necked parakeets in an apple tree.

Over an hour before sunset today, I saw birds flying in the direction of the university library.

The first one was a grey heron.

Behind it, about forty ring-necked parakeets, some of them calling.

Were they going to roosting trees to sleep?
