It comes as no surprise that the inevitable coronation of Gordon Brown [as successor to Tony Blair] is accompanied by a series of suspiciously well-ordered stories in the press damaging to his reputation and character.

Todays is probably the worst:

“Gordon Brown has said he “got on very well” with US President George W Bush, after the pair met for the first time in Washington DC on Friday.”
