It pays to be the big bird on campus! Listen closely as a Common Raven announces its presence to an American crow foraging on some suet. The raven quickly makes its way onto the platform to pick up the giant ball of suet in one fell swoop!

The Raven is revered by many as they should be, I have spent much time with them and have often witnessed their battles with the eagles who encroach on their territories, they have no fear of larger birds either.

Thanks for your comment! Crows and other birds also sometimes try to drive away birds of prey bigger than they are.

Crows, like Ravens work in teams against larger creatures, they often go after the raccoons who sleep in the trees during the day and the Robins spend their time tormenting the Owls while they attempt to slumber!
