Fungi and dabchicks

This is a little grebe video.

Today, to Crailo nature bridge.

In the forest to the north, nuthatch calls. And many circles of Clitocybe nebularis mushrooms.

In the northern lake, three dabchicks. They were diving all the time. So, it took a long time to find out they were three; as most of the time you could only see two, one, or zero birds on the water surface.

A mute swan flying past. A few coots.

On the wooden stairs to the bicycle path, sulphur tuft fungi.

On an old tree trunk, turkey tail fungi.

As we returned, the three little grebes were still at about the same spot on the lake. Later, in the northern part of the lake, another, lone, dabchick; calling.

Later, from the window, in the same hawthorn tree where there had been a magpie this morning, two great tits.
