Recently, two blogs have been so kind to nominate this blog for the Versatile Blogger Award. After Piazza della Carina (my reaction to that nomination is here), now the nomination by Spencer Angel.
Thank you, and all the best for your fine blog!
Here are the rules of the Versatile Blogger Award:
1. In a post on your blog, nominate 10 fellow bloggers for The Versatile Blogger Award; and link to them. 2. In the same post, add the Versatile Blogger Award. 3. In the same post, thank the blogger who nominated you in a post with a link back to their blog. 4. In the same post, share 10 completely random pieces of information about yourself. 5. In the same post, include this set of rules. 6. Inform each nominated blogger of their nomination by posting a comment on each of their blogs.
I have nominated the following 10 blogs:
1 Manon Kubler from Spain
2 afternoon popcorn snack
3 People, Places and Bling!
4 Belle Grove Plantation Bed and Breakfast
5 Free Tag Zone – Inventaire de l’éphémère
6 onlinedatingjournal
7 Travel . Culture . Food
8 X-Ray Spectator
9 Coco J. Ginger Says
10 rodposse
And here are ten random pieces of information about myself:
1 I have often seen house sparrows around where I used to live, but I don’t see them where I live now.
2 Swifts used to nest in a building close to me. Unfortunately, when that building was renovated, the swifts lost their nesting opportunities.
3 I often hear blackbirds and song thrushes sing from my home.
4 I often hear a chaffinch as well.
5 Sometimes, I hear a dunnock sing (not so often).
6 A few years ago, a woodcock collided against a building close to where I live, and died. I brought it to the natural history museum, where it presumably still is.
7 Sometimes, bats fly close to my home (probably common pipistrelle bats).
8 Mute swans, and occasionally a black swan or a Canada goose, swim on the river close to my home.
9 I often hear lesser black-backed gulls, nesting on roofs not far away.
10 Probably, jays nest in dense foliage opposite my window.
