COVID-19 second waves in Australia, Catalonia

More than 200,000 people in Spain’s Catalonia region have been put back under lockdown after the number of infections there almost doubled in a week.

In contrast, pubs, restaurants and cinemas have reopened across England following a relaxation of lockdown rules.

This comes as coronavirus cases in the southeastern state of Victoria have spiked.

  1. This is not the second wave. This is a local outbreak. There will be many of them. Even in China these things happen. For a second wave look to Iran for example. Try the site of the John Hopkins University, daily new cases.
