European Baltic coast wildlife, documentary

This 12 June 2020 video says about itself:

The Baltic Coast: Wild Animal Paradise | Free Documentary Nature

This documentary presents the natural beauty of the shifting sand dunes of the Curonian Spit, the romantic beaches of the Latvian Baltic Sea and the island worlds of Estonia. Time and again, this deserted and almost untouched nature fascinates.

In the winter, ringed seals give birth to their young on the pack ice. In the spring, Konik wild horse stallions fight fierce battles amongst themselves, while colourful European rollers fly through the dune forests. Lynxes wander through the coastal forests and in the orchid meadows wrynecks and hoopoes find more than enough food. On the islands around Saaremaa in Estonia, grey seals hunt for fish. They share the archipelago with Europe’s largest tern, the Caspian tern.

British neonazis attack #BlackLivesMatter, parody music

This 14 June 2020 satiric music video from Britain is called The White Gripes – Gammon Nation Army.

It is a parody of the song Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes.

It says about itself:

Out now on Britain First Records.

We’re gonna fight ‘em all
Gammon nation army with our Union Jacks
We’re going down Whitehall
All lives matter,

All lives matter, cartoon

obviously, except browns and blacks
And I’m pissing on a statue now

‘Cause I already forgot
Why I’m meant to be here
That’s how fucking pissed I got

And the message coming from my eyes
Says, “You fuckin’ what?”

Don’t wanna hear about it
Every single race has got their very own tale
We like to shout about ours
From the Queen of England to the Daily Mail
And if we catch you being black ‘round here
We’ll swarm on you like orcs
If you don’t show up, we’ll fight the pigs
So it’s pork-on-pork

And the message coming from Britain First
Says, “Heil Churchill!”

This 13 June 2020 video from the (Conservative) Daily Telegraph in Britain says about itself:

Police are forced to push Far-Right protesters back from a Black Lives Matter demo in central London on Saturday. Britain First claimed its members were trying to protect monuments.

COVID-19 killed United States prisoner Charles Hobbs

This 14 June 2020 video from the USA says about itself:

Charles Hobbs Died of COVID-19 While in Prison | NowThis

Charles Hobbs, who was held in prison before his trial because he couldn’t afford bail, pleaded for help before dying of COVID-19.

The coronavirus pandemic has a disparate impact on different communities, and few places are more dangerous than prisons and jails. COVID, which already disproportionately affects communities of color, is particularly dangerous in close, confined, unsanitary places like prisons, which themselves house a disproportionate amount of people of color thanks to systemic racism.

For COVID, prisons are a fertile breeding ground, and the vulnerable populations inside are at extreme risk of getting ill and dying in coronavirus prisons. In the era of COVID 19, prisons and prisoners are not getting the attention or resources needed to keep prisoners safe, and it’s time to stop turning a blind eye to the horrors occurring inside prisons.

Watch live at

A Red-tailed Hawk pair has been nesting above Cornell University’s athletic fields since at least the 2012, making use of two different light towers for their nest sites. In 2012 and 2015, they used a tower near Fernow Hall, and in 2013, 2014, and 2016, they used the tower nearest Weill Hall. We installed cameras at both of these sites to get a better look at the intimate behavior of these well-known birds as they raise their young amid the bustle of a busy campus.

Writing on your home while black, criminal?

This 13 June 2020 video about California in the USA:

Lisa Alexander Calls Police on Man of Color

Calling United States police on a person of colour may very possibly result in police murdering that person.

for Writing ‘Black Lives Matter’ on His Own Home

Yesterday, a video went viral on Twitter of Laface skincare owner Lisa Alexander and her husband Robert accusing a man of defacing private property by chalk stencilling the words Black Lives Matter on the front of his property in San Francisco

They simply assumed that he wasn’t the owner, likely because he was a man of color, and they wouldn’t even consider that possibility. While not as serious, this story reminds me of the recent Amy Cooper incident, where she called the police on [birdwatcher] Christian Cooper in New York’s Central Park [for warning Ms Cooper that her dog was not on a leash, in an area where that is mandatory because of birdlife], saying he was an African American putting her in danger.

In the aftermath of this, big companies like Birchbox have cut ties with Lisa Alexander.

Here is the tweet from the man in the original video (Jaimetoons): “A white couple call the police on me, a person of color, for stencilling a #BLM chalk message on my own front retaining wall. “Karen”

“Karen” is a nickname for racist wealthy white American women, usually Donald Trump supporters (or, in the case of “Karen” Amy Cooper, apparently a corporate Democrat Hillary Clinton supporter).

lies and says she knows that I don’t live in my own house, because she knows the person who lives here. #blacklivesmatter
