This 9 June 2020 satirical music video from Britain is a parody of the song Proud Mary by Tina Turner.
It says about itself:
[17th-century Bristol, England slave trader] Edward Colston – Rolling to the River
The statue of Edward Colston sings.
LYRICS:
Left a good job in the city
Joined the Royal African Company
Worked my way up to Deputy Governor
19,000 slaves died on our journeys
Statue was still erected
But it seems some of you objected
Now I’m rolling, rolling, rolling to the river
Grave of enslaved African in Bristol vandalised in ‘retaliation attack’: here.
USA: This week, in every state across the country, activists, organizers, and concerned Americans took to the streets to protest rampant police brutality against the Black community. We’re proud to stand with this movement for racial justice and that’s why we renewed our calls to ban all symbols of the Confederacy from our military.
Yesterday, the Army said they are “open to a bipartisan conversation” to take up this issue. That is shameful. It shouldn’t take a debate for our military to do the right thing.
Add your name to this petition demanding the Department of Defense remove all public Confederate symbols and flags from our military and rename 10 bases named after Confederate generals >>

Confederate generals and military forces were traitors to our nation, full stop. They led an insurrection to preserve a system that used human beings as chattel based on their race. And because of the racism, hate, and white supremacy they perpetuated, America lost millions of lives — including hundreds of thousands of military personnel.
There are 10 Army bases named after Confederate generals. Confederate symbols and flags are used by our military. These bases and symbols do nothing but encourage white supremacists and perpetuate racism.
We’re the largest advocacy organization representing the lives and rights and values of military families and veterans. We have to speak up — loudly — to stop the spread of hate and racism by removing any Confederate symbolism in our military.

Thanks for speaking up today.
