This male Ladder-backed Woodpecker sure isn’t shy in the spotlight. As you can see, hummingbirds aren’t the only birds that like nectar. We’ve seen both Ladder-backed and Acorn Woodpeckers frequent nectar feeders in the Davis Mountains.
