Rare Visit From A Golden-hooded Tanager – Nov 5, 2019
A Golden-hooded Tanager perches near the feeder while a Blue-grey Tanager, male Green Honeycreeper, male Thick-billed Euphonia and an adult and subadult Bananaquit forage for fruit below. Golden-hooded Tanagers occur from southern Mexico to western Ecuador. Sexes look alike, although females tend to have a greener cast to their hoods.
