This 6 September 2019 video from Canada shows very many bald eagles of various ages in Canada.
Researchers have discovered a previously unknown virus infecting nearly a third of America’s bald eagle population. Scientists found the virus while searching for the cause of Wisconsin River Eagle Syndrome, an enigmatic disease endemic to bald eagles near the Lower Wisconsin River. The newly identified bald eagle hepacivirus, or BeHV, may contribute to the fatal disease, which causes eagles to stumble and have seizures: here.
So Impressive, love the video, If I am lucky, I might see 5 or 6 during the winter. Great video.

Thanks for your kind words! Maybe they migrate especially along the Canadian west coast?

Yes, I live along the Mississippi River in Iowa, so I get to see a few from Dec through May. They stop here to catch fish at the Lock and Dams on the River. Fun to photograph.

Yes, indeed easier to photograph than small birds moving swiftly between leaves 🙂
