“I understand there are some well-intentioned Democrats and candidates who believe the best way forward is a middle-ground strategy that antagonizes no one, that stands up to nobody and that changes nothing,” Sanders said. “In my view, that approach is not just bad public policy, but it is a failed political strategy that I fear would end up with the re-election of Donald Trump.”

Probably the only thing I will agree with Bernie on. After all he is a senile old socialist.

So you prefer senile old capitalists and militarists like Trump, or Thatcher (already dead)?

Well you clearly didn’t read my comment if you believe that I prefer anyone that would be a militarist. The military industrial complex isn’t true capitalism as it is just an extensive form of crony capitalism, with much dire consequences.
I am a fan of Trump, not really as he is an economic protectionist.
And Thatcher….. she may have claimed to have been influenced by The Road to Serfdom, but she clearly didn’t read it. Thatcher and Regan both professed to be a proponents of limited government , however, their lip service was never reflected in there policies.
So please enlighten me , how does Bernie plan to resolve the whole issue of the budgetary deficit? That’s right continue to debase our currency by printing more money to fund more entitlement programs.
The end of the day, The Right likes to squander money on war and subsidies to large corporations. Those on the Left prefer to waste money social programs. Either way neither side of the fence is correct, both are continuing to poison the U.S. as well as the world.
How about instead of attempting to label me as right-winger with all the angst of your tribal zeal, appreciate the fact that we both share anti-war sentiments.

So-called ‘pure’ capitalism exists only on the paper of Ayn Rand political novels etc.
Crony capitalism of Trump, Thatcher etc. is the only capitalism existing in practice.

While ‘pure’ capitalism has never been attempted, socialism has been tried in a multitude of different forms. The result being a myriad of issues relating to practical application.
It has been prove time and time again the government is the least efficient entity for allocating resources.

In Amazon.com, of the richest capitalist, and militarist, in the world, Jeff Bezos,
hundreds of billions of dollars are allocated to Bezos (‘efficiently’, indeed), while Amazon workers work under a dictatorship regime, get injured very often and then get thrown away like shit, and are spied upon by corporate spies to prevent them from getting workers’ compensation.

1. Bezos is in bed with the government. 2. Not every company treats their employees quite that poorly. 3. Yes ,capitalism is imperfect. However, we also can’t an ideal state where the government provides us with all of our needs. Do you really trust the same government that has had us at war for nearly 20 years to take care of the citizens?
Granted, Bernie is anti-war. However, he will be in constant gridlock with congress.

1. Very true, especially with the Pentagon and CIA.
2. Not all quite that poorly as that biggest one, Amazon. However, there are more examples, especially of big corporations:

3. ‘Do you really trust the same government that has had us at war for nearly 20 years to take care of the citizens?’
No, of course I don’t trust that government. That has to be overthrown by revolution (see, eg, Puerto Rico now).

Let’s say you could overthrow the present government. How would you restructure? Nothing detailed, rather a high level over view.

In revolutions, decisions should be democratic decisions by the millions of participants.
In Puerto Rico, the first emphasis was on overthrowing the corrupt governor. Now, the emphasis is on overthrowing his successor and the Washington-imposed Wall Street hedge fund Financial Oversight and Management Board:

I think you missed the mark on my question.

I meant that you cannot make a blueprint about what exactly revolutionaries should do in case of revolution, before that revolution happens. All countries and times are different.

What I am asking is what do you believe to be the preferred organization for society. Even if it is a complete absence of government and other governing institutions, large corporations, etc.
What is your conception of the ideal society (in theory)?

A classless and stateless society, in the long run.
