Theresa May’s Brexit flop, Beatles musical parody

This 15 January 2019 musical parody video from Britain is about Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May suffering the biggest defeat ever of any Prime Minister in parliament, on her agreement with the European Union on canceling British membership.

It is a parody of the Beatles‘ A Hard Day’s Night.

It says about itself:

It’s been A Hard May’s Night for Theresa and her Beatles tribute band, The Wheatles.

LYRICS:

It’s been a hard May’s night
Lost by 200 fucking votes
It’s been a hard May’s night
I’m gonna need a bigger boat
And when I’m back in three days
I’ll just repeat my plan A
Sod you all, I’m right

You know I worked all day
To get the EU to compromise
And was it worth it? Was it fuck, I say
Better go beg for cross-party ties
But what good is it to moan?
I should have sent up a drone
And got the whole thing called off
And got the whole thing called off
Let’s call the whole thing off
