Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a fraudulent business practice. Its clients are pressured into abusing their relatives, friends and aquaintances by forcing products and services down their throats which they would never have bought themselves; but buy anyway in order to avoid a conflict with their relative, friend or aquaintance. MLM clients are pressured into becoming unpaid salespersons and into themselves recruiting as many unpaid salespersons for the pyramid scheme (‘Ponzi‘) corporations as possible. According to the United States Federal Trade Commission, at least 99% of people who join MLM companies lose money.

Probably the best known MLM corporation is Amway. It is often described as a (pseudo-)religious cult (with fundamentalist Christian undertones) rather than a bona fide business. Amway profits are the cause of the fortunes of Donald Trump’s Secretary of Miseducation Betsy DeVos; and of her brother Erik Prince, of the Blackwater paramilitary mercenaries’ corporation.

According to Wikipedia, Keith Raniere, the founder of NXIVM, got his MLM inspiration as a student at an Amway marketing course.

that offers personal and professional development seminars through its “Executive Success Programs”.^[1] NXIVM has been labeled as a pyramid scheme,^[2][3][4][5] a sex trafficking operation, and even a sex cult.^[6] A report for the Ross Institute described its seminars as “expensive brainwashing”.^[7]

NXIVM has also been accused of being a recruiting platform for a cult operating within it (variously called “DOS” or “The Vow”) in which women were forced into sexual slavery and branded.^{[8][9][10][11][12][13]}

In early 2018, NXIVM founder Keith Raniere and associate Allison Mack were arrested and indicted on federal charges related to DOS, including sex trafficking.^[14][3] A trial has been scheduled for October 2018.^[15] As of May 2018, the company’s operations have been suspended.

Raniere and Mack are not the only arrested NXIVM people.

(24 Jul 2018) An heiress to the Seagram’s liquor fortune and three other people were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the investigation of a self-improvement organization accused of branding some of its female followers and forcing them into unwanted sex.

Clare Bronfman, a daughter of the late billionaire philanthropist and former Seagram chairman Edgar Bronfman Sr., surrendered to the FBI and pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges.

A lawyer for Bronfman, Susan Necheles, sought her release on $25 million bond. But U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis set the amount at $100 million after hearing prosecutors label her a flight risk and learning she has a net worth of roughly $200 million, including a stake in an island resort in Fiji.

The 39-year-old Bronfman, who appeared in court wearing flip-flops and a T-shirt, was to be released under house arrest later Tuesday.

Bronfman, a former competitor in international equestrian show jumping competitions, is accused in an indictment of taking a number of steps to help NXIVM’s founder and leader, Keith Raniere, exercise control over members of the upstate New York group, including identity theft, interception of electronic communications and money laundering.

Bronfman was part of an “inner circle” of loyalists who “committed a broad range of serious crimes from identity theft and obstruction of justice to sex trafficking, all to promote and protect Raniere and NXIVM,” U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue said in a statement.

Clare Bronfman, a heiress to the Seagram beverage company fortune, was among six people arrested on Tuesday in connection with the group NXIVM, an alleged sex cult.

The U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York announced on Tuesday that Bronfman – along with NXIVM founder Keith Raniere, former “Smallville” actress Allison Mack, Kathy Russell, Lauren Salzman and Nancy Salzman – have been indicted on charges of “racketeering conspiracy involving an array of crimes, including identity theft, extortion, forced labor, sex trafficking, money laundering, wire fraud and obstruction of justice.”

Bronfman was scheduled to be arraigned later on Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn. Though Raniere and Mack were charged in April with sex trafficking and forced labor conspiracy, the unsealing of the indictment on Tuesday marked the first time prosecutors had charged Bronfman, a member of NXIVM’s executive board; Russell, NXIVM’s former bookkeeper; Lauren Salzman, a member of NXIVM’s executive board.

Her bail was set at 100 million dollars. At least the United States NXIVM-critical blog FrankReport, 24 July 2018, claims that Clare Bronfman now is an ex-billionaire rather than a billionaire; as NXIVM boss Raniere fleeced her of most of her money; and that Clare’s older sister Sara Bronfman has to pay the bail.

Ms Clare Bronfman was originally talked by her older sister Sara into joining NXIVM and wasting lots of her inherited assets on it.

How did that happen? According to the FrankReport blog:

Back in 2005, two sisters, Sara and Clare Bronfman, invested $65 million into a series of commodities futures trades following the advice of their awesome mentor, a man named Keith Raniere, who told them he was the smartest man in the world. He told them he developed a foolproof mathematical formula for investing in the market.

The Bronfman sisters made the investments, by loaning $65 million to an entity called First Principles LLC, whose sole stockholder was a woman named Nancy Salzman, top assistant of Mr. Raniere.

Somehow, the sisters lost the entire $65 million. Mr. Raniere explained the losses were not due to his blunders but to outside forces beyond his control.

According to some insiders, Keith told the sisters their father, billionaire Edgar Bronfman Sr., pulled strings and invested money to manipulate commodities prices against Mr. Raniere’s advised positions to cause the staggering losses for the sisters.

It was initially assumed that, if this were true [and the sisters had no reason to doubt the veracity of Keith Raniere, for he was their mentor {and the smartest man in the world} who wanted only their good] that Pater Bronfman did so because he did not like Keith Raniere having undue influence over his daughters, and wanted him discredited at any price. …

[Probably, Raniere] swindled the sisters out of the money and used Papa Bronfman as a decoy. The sisters chose to believe Keith, who was, after all, the smartest man in the world and, they said, the most ethical.

Edgar Bronfman, president of the World Jewish Congress from 1979-2007, who died in December 2013, did not like NXIVM. He called it a ‘cult’.

We now know NXIVM boss Keith Raniere’s ideas on economics: separating people from their money as quickly and thoroughly as possible. What are Mr NXIVM supremo Raniere’s ideas on politics, according to FrankReport blog?

Now, for the first time, Frank Report reveals what Keith Raniere told his most intimate disciples about the reason Edgar Bronfman went against him:

Keith Raniere told several disciples that he discovered that Nazi Germany did not use extermination camps and gas chambers to mass murder Jews; and the actual number of Jews killed was significantly lower than the historically accepted figure of 6 million.

Raniere had proof, he said, that the holocaust was a Zionist Fraud, and the “Hoax of the Twentieth Century”, a vast Zionist/Allied/Soviet conspiracy.

What are Mr NXIVM supremo Raniere’s ideas on religion?

Keith Rainiere claimed to have identified six lovers and disciples as having been connected with the Nazis in a previous life.

Keith Raniere claimed his knowledge was so vast he could tell who people were in their past lives.

The idea of past lives, of reincarnation, is present in several religions, like Buddhism and Hinduism. However, claims to know about living people what their past lives were (or what their future lives will be) are typical for members of the Theosophical Society, founded in 1875 in New York City, and of later tendencies influenced by it, rather than for Hindus or Buddhists. Eg, prominest Theosophical Society member Charles Webster Leadbeater claimed to know a lot about living individuals’ reincarnations.

So, apparently, Keith Raniere, though he got his start in Multi Level Marketing from Amway religious right Christians, preaches non-Christian reincarnation. A bit similar to the Church of Scientology, also saying they know people’s past lives. Not the only parallel betwen Scientology and NXIVM (also in financially exploiting and abusing (ex-)adherents):

Toni Natalie – his former girlfriend and the woman designated to have his avatar child – was Herman[n] Goering in her previous life.

Barbara Bouchey, another girlfriend designated to have an avatar child, was, in her past life, Mr. Raniere said, Reinhard Heydrich.

Ivy Nevares, another girlfriend designated to have an avatar baby, was a Nazi working under Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda.

The late Pamela Cafritz was identified as an obscure and low-level Nazi whose name has not been passed down to history.

Alex Betancourt was identified as Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator.

She is President of the US-Libya Chamber of Commerce, and of the Canada-Libya Chamber of Commerce; organisations helping rich North American corporations and a few Libyan businessmen and warlords to get even richer while the Libyan people die of warfare, disease and hunger.
